Last Full Day of Research

O'Neill's Pub - Dublin

Well, it's day 9 for me, and day 5 of research for the group.  Today people were researching at the Library, Archives, Valulation Office and GRO.  For everyplace but the Library, it's the last day to gather those documents and find those ancestors that are hiding.

Tonight, most of the group went out to O'Neill's Pub  (a name you would recognize if you read Andrew Greeley's  Nuala Anne McGrail novels), a Irish pub in Dublin right near Trinity College.   Dinner was from their self serve carvary and included traditional Irish food such as Irish Stew, Beef & Guinness Pie, Corned Beef & Cabbage, as well as daily specials.  I had Lamb Shank in Red Wine sauce that was one of the best meals I've had in Dublin!
