294. The information about Margaret Johnston comes from Mark Halstead <mhalstead@snet.net> of Bridgeport, CT first noted in an email dated 4 Oct 2001. He states “My gg grandmother was Margaret Johnston of Cornagee, who married John Curry in January 1864. She too was a daughter of James, so we are probably cousins (2nd, once removed?)” Further correspondence indicates that his great uncle and Arthur Mackey owned a bar in Bridgeport called Curry and Mackeys. Arthur was the son of Rachel Johnston Mackey, supposed sister of Margaret.
